GCW Calendar
This calendar provides information on planned activities for our club meetings. The club meets the second Monday of each month unless otherwise notified. All our GCW meetings include Member sharing sessions on Shop/tool Safety, new tools, President’s Project Challenges, project Show-N-Tell presentations, and a raffle. Come join in and meet new people, learn what woodworking is all about, make new friends. Be sure to check out the Club Newsletter page to see the varied projects presented at our meetings. Notice: There will be meetings where unscheduled presentations may be included.

January 12th: President’s Challenge, make something using one 8 foot Two by Four (Construction 2×4). Cut it up anyway you wish, as many shapes/pieces you wish. Include whatever hardware finish, etc. you wish. Wood can be Pine, Redwood, Dougles Fir.
February 9th: President’s Challenge: create something with a heart theme for Valentine’s Day.
March 9th: President’s Challenge, make an accessory for your home. Show your creativity!!
April 13th: President’s Challenge, make a bird house or something with flowers.
May 13th: President’s Challenge, 2 person teamwork project. Anything goes.
June 8th: President’s Challenge, create a project using 3 or more woods. Again, anything goes.
July 13th: President’s Challenge, create something using repurposed/recycled wood or multimedia.
August 10th: President’s Challenge, project using muti-colors or abstract art.
September 14th: President’s Challenge, project incorporating carving and or jewelry.
November 9th: President’s Challenge, create a seasonal wood item (Fall, Winter/ Holliday).
December 14th: The December Holiday meeting will again be a bring your Spouse/Plus 1, Pot-Luck and gift exchange meeting. December President’s Challenge is to make items for the gift exchange. This is an RSVP meeting. Details for RSVP will be provided before the November 10th meeting.
A note, on President’s Challenges, it is suggested that members bring a newly created project rather than one from the past….
